Raahithi.Org 4 Hopenhagen
The average temperature of the world is at 14.5 C and is expected to rise by another 5 C in the next 15 years. If you thought the way we did about how much difference would a mere 5.0 C rise can do to us, then you would be shocked to know the effect.
We are at a juncture where even our immediate attention to climate change will not help save the world (yes, it is that big and bad). Ideas need to be implemented, thoughts have to become actions, and at Raahithi we are ensuring that everyone is doing his bit. How much difference can one do?
Bear with the story that I read in Branson's 'Business Stripped Bare' book. A young girl is walking along the beach and throwing the shells in to the ocean. An elderly person comes up to her and says, "What are you doing young lady?" "Throwing the shells to safety," she says. Looking at the miles long beach, he asks "How much of a difference do you think you can make?" The girl picks another shell and throws it into the water and says, "I made a difference to that one."
It stuck with us at Raahithi INC. As an online media company we are helping businesses to enhance their online presence and send out messages to the wider targeted audience. But there is so much beyond just the obvious. We were worried about the carbon footprints that we were leaving. We are not being paid to do that and its definitely not the most ethical way of doing business.
Just the way we were doing our bit with carbon emissions, we decided to do our bit in cleaning it up. As an ethical business, we are what we do. We are with Hopenhagen. Come join us.

Whoever thought Tollywood would see this - We Did!

It was a well planned movie that made it possible to deliver the movie in flat 40 days with the lowest budget one could imagine.
A strategy that allowed us to offer the audio at less than 10/-, something that was unheard in Tollywood.
The final product was a good clean movie (something I personally craved for the last few years). It was getting important to ensure that it reached the targeted audience when one of us said, how about a corporate tour.
Whoever thought Tollywood would see a strategy where the crew would visit corporates and connect with them to share their experiences and goodies of the movie. Well, we did and did it successfully. After touring Patni Computers and Monster.com, we are moving ahead to visit Wipro and Google soon.

So we come out clean, simple, and yet make a very strong impression, be it good or bad (thankfully most of the times it has been good). Wondering what's the point?
Week after week in city after city, business people are turning on their computers and writing blog entries, Facebook posts and Twitter updates for the first time. Well that is great isn't it? Problem is, after a few weeks or months, many of them give up.
To compete in marketing (at least in the current scenario), it comes down to telling a lot of stories, and that comes down to engaging content. With social media being such a strong tool, it pained us to see that we are being mute spectators to it until one of us in the team shouted, "What the hell, let's just help them out."
Bingo, we got our team together, chalked out a plan, got a few of them trained on social media etiquette and are now rolling to help people around. Some of our clients were glad we did this. Contact us if we managed to rub you on the right side :)

Raahithi INC grows by 150% in workforce

We have grown our full-time employees by 150% last quarter. We now have five full time employees :P
Growth is great when even a small thing can be shown on exponential growth parameters and that is what we are doing right now. Growth is growth nevertheless. "An intriguing Concept"

Raahithi INC decides to launch three unique and innovative websites in the next twelve months. While wheels were set to motion, we came across iAccelerator and IIM-A program to guide start-ups. We thought, 'Why not?'
Freeman Murray, Co-Director of iAccelerator.Org thought the idea of one of our offerings this year is an intriguing concept. While we wait for the final list, we are glad that biggies are in tune with us. Watch out for this space as we launch the websites.

Raahithi Website Cluttered?
We had our hands on our mouth and eyebrows up when we heard that. We immediately cleaned it up. Talk about being customer centric. We take simplicity way too seriously, but decided to keep the content fresh. Just to make sure that you are not disappointed, we decided that starting next Monday, we will try and put some fresh content. If we are not keeping up to that, please give us some piece of your mind.

Raahithi INC Welcomes Rajesh as Head of Web Evangelists

Well that's not exactly how he feels joining Raahithi INC :) But it did take us 4 months to get him on board. Rajesh joins the team to head the Web Evangelists team and will be instrumental in managing the pipeline, executing the projects seamlessly, and more importantly growing the team.
With industry experince of more than 4 years, Rajesh comes with clear vision, strong technical expertise backed by a zeal to continuously evolve and learn. Raahithi INC is glad to have him and considers him to be first big investment.
Great find and now time to put words into actions!

Welcome to Raahithi INC
When we were doing so much for people in terms of putting their business online, I wondered what is stopping Raahithi from doing the same. Pat came the reply, "Remember, you have been busy setting up things for your clients." So much so that we do not have a website to our liking to date.
But web identity is so important! The presence and style statement that you make is increasing more than ever before. We push our clients to get it right and help them do it. It does not justify that we don't do it for ourselves. So while my engineers and designers are busy giving Raahithi a facelift, I thought I will start connecting with you all with our blog.
